In 2014 Charmaine McKissock started recording a unique series called ‘What Matters?' She aims to record Essex folk in conversation in order to build a unique picture of our lives today and leave a footprint for future generations. We are asking people to briefly share their thoughts, experiences and feelings in a recorded conversation about what really matters to you. What you talk about is up to you!

  • Can you talk to me for just 10 minutes about what really matters to you?
  • How many of us stop to really think about which things are most important to us?
